One of my favorite breakfast smoothie. Making a smoothie is a healthy, delicious way to begin the day.  They are simple and easy to prepare and you will get a banana smoothie combined with other ingredients within 5 minutes The smoothie recipe is for 4 individual serving glasses.

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 11/2 cups of fresh goat milk
  • 1/2 cup goat milk yogurt
  • 1 cup canned apricots in natural juice, drained
  • 1 ripe banana fruit
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Directions:

 

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender for 1 minute or until smooth and thick.
  • Pour into four chilled tall glasses and serve.

 

 

More suggestion:

 

Keep canned apricots in the refrigerator and freeze the peeled banana for a thicker, ice-cold smoothie. Apricots can be substituted for canned peaches or fruit salad in natural juice.

If you want to thin out the smoothie, just add more goat milk.

Goat Yogurt Recipe for Strong Bones!

 

Goat milk yogurt is one of the major cultured products. Goat yogurt  may be made from low-fat, skim or whole milk. The recipe is for 2 individual serving.

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 1/2 baby bananas – firm and ripe
  • 8 oz. goat yogurt
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup mixed cereal
  • 2 Tbsp. extra mixed cereal
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp. dark brown sugar

 

 

 

Directions:

 

Coarse grate bananas. In a bowl gently stir together banana, yogurt, 2/3 cup raspberries, 1/2 cup mixed cereal, sour cream and brown sugar until combined.

Divide mixture into 2 bowls. Sprinkle yogurt with remaining 2 tablespoons mixed cereal and garnish with remaining 1/3 cup raspberries.

 

 

More suggestion:

Freeze goat milk into an ice tray, then drop a couple of them into smoothies, milkshakes or ice coffee as a summertime treat . Additionally, you can flavor the ice blocks with coffee or chocolate syrup before freezing for something special.

Stir goat milk into natural muesli with some grated apple and a touch of cinnamon. Refrigerate overnight and serve, topped with fresh fruit and goat yogurt.

Homemade ice cream recipes are the ultimate summertime treat. This homemade ice cream will really “wow” the coffee lovers in your life!

 

This ice cream recipe is a creamy custard-style frozen treat with a rich coffee and goat milk base and delicious mini chocolate chips for variety. Goat milk makes a delicious creamer for coffee, and similarly this recipe captures that wonderful flavor in a delightful, cold sensation. The recipe below is for a 4-quart freezer.

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 2 quarts whole goat milk
  • 1 can evaporated goat milk
  • 4 Tbsp. instant coffee
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 cups sugar

 

Directions:

 

  • Mix sugar, salt, flour and instant coffee in a saucepan. Gradually stir in 1 quart of goat milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened – approximately 15 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten. Slowly add a cup of the hot milk mixture to the eggs, stirring well.
  • Pour the egg-milk mixture into the saucepan, stirring constantly for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and chill in the refrigerator for several hours until cool, or place pan in a larger pot of ice water, stirring frequently, to cool more quickly.
  • Combine the evaporated milk, remaining quart of goat milk, and vanilla extract. Add the chilled, cooked mixture and stir well with a wire whisk. Pour into ice cream freezer canister. Add chocolate chips, and freeze according to your ice cream manufacturer’s instructions.
