How to make Cheese Pizza : Easy Comfort Food

 

 

 

The recipe requires less than 30 minutes Preparation time, 10 to 30 minutes Cooking time, and Serves 1

 

Ingredients:

 

For the dough

  • 200g/7oz plain flour
  • 3 tbsp olive oil, plus extra for greasing
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp tomato purée

For the topping

  • 55g/2oz goats’ cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 100g/3½oz wild mushrooms
  • 30g/1oz sun-blushed tomatoes, chopped

 

Directions:

 

  • Preheat oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6 and oil a baking sheet.

 

  • Mix the flour, olive oil and water together in a bowl to make a soft dough.

 

  • On a clean flat surface, roll the dough out into a thin disc and lay onto the oiled baking sheet.

 

  • Spread the tomato puré over the dough disc.

 

  • Meanwhile, for the topping, heat the olive oil in a frying pan over a high heat. Add the mushrooms and sun-blushed tomato and fry for two minutes.

 

  • Spread the mushroom mixture over the pizza, crumble over the goats’ cheese and transfer to the oven and cook for 6-8 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the base is crisp and golden.

Try this delicious comfort food, Goat Milk Mac and Cheese. It will warm you from the inside out.

 

The recipe requires 15 minutes preparation time, 45 minutes cooking time, and serves 8.

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 3 cups Goat Milk
  • 7 Tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 3 of your favorite goat cheeses
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 ½ cups crushed Ritz Crackers
  • Salt and pepper

 

 

 

Directions:

 

 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.

 

  • In a large saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

 

  • While waiting for butter to melt, start cooking the elbow macaroni according to package instructions.

 

  • Once the butter is melted, whisk in flour. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 1 minute, stirring once to avoid burning. It will bubble and become paste-like.

 

  • Gradually whisk in the milk and it will start to thicken. Once it reaches a light boil remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in all of your cheeses until they fully melt.

 

  • Add in the macaroni and stir until fully mixed in.

 

  • Meanwhile, in a medium skillet, melt the remaining 3 Tablespoons of butter over medium- low heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Add the crushed crackers and toss to coat. Toast the crumbs until browned, stirring frequently to avoid burning, for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat.

 

  • Transfer the mac and cheese to the greased 9×13. Evenly sprinkle with the toasted cracker crumbs. Bake for 15- 20 minutes, or until the crumbs are golden brown and the sauce is bubbling.

 

  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy!!

How to make Rice Pudding – Popular and Easy Gourmet Recipe

A real classic, and yet so easy to cook in the oven on the weekend. The perfect comfort food. With less than 30 mins preparation time and 1 – 2 hours cooking time, the recipe can serves 4.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1¾ pints goat milk
  • 3½ fluid oz. pudding rice
  • 1½ oz. butter
  • 2½ oz. super fine sugar
  • 5fl oz. double cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • plenty freshly grated nutmeg

 

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 285°F.
  • Melt the butter in a heavy-based casserole dish over a medium heat. Add the rice and stir to coat. Add the sugar, stirring until dissolved. Continue stirring until the rice swells and becomes sticky with sugar.
  • Now, pour in the milk and keep stirring until no lumps remain. Add the cream and vanilla extract and bring the mixture to a simmer. Once this is reached, give the mixture a final stir and grate at least a third of a nutmeg over the surface. Bake for 1-1½ hours and cover with foil if the surfaces browns too quickly.
  • Once there is a thin, tarpaulin-like skin on the surface, and the pudding only just wobbles in the center, it is ready.
  • Serve at room temperature.
